“Power Up”
Welcome everyone to Pack 100’s Pinewood Derby (results here). This month’s theme is “Power Up”. The Cub Scout Pinewood Derby is a great scouting tradition and one of the highlights of the scouting year. It strives to teach Scouts about good sportsmanship and playing by the rules. Win or lose, it’s all about having fun and Doing Your Best!!
The annual Boy Scout Troop 100 “Pancake Breakfast” is schedule for Sunday, January 31st. It is a fun way to enjoy breakfast with your family and show support for our Boy Scout Troop. The Pack will receive $1.00 for every ticket we sell. Tickets are being distributed today
Thank you to all of our volunteers that are helping with the Pinewood Derby inspection and race day. We will need help cleaning up at the end of the day.
We are planning to attend the March 28th Providence Bruins game at the Dunkin Donuts Center. The Pack will cover ½ the cost ($6.50) for each scout. Admission for all others is $13.00. We have a sign up sheet if you are interested. Payment will be due by February 28th
In order to fund the upcoming events, we will be selling candy bars. Candy will be distributed on February 3rd and all money must be turned in by February 24th. Each scout will be responsible for selling 1 box (no returns). Top 3 sellers in the pack will receive gift certificates from the Scout store.
Upcoming Events
February 7, 2010 – Scout Sunday at Our Lady of Grace 10:00 a.m. Mass. Meet at 9:45am in the church basement to process into 10:00 Mass. This is a full uniform event. All faiths are welcome. Please come and show your appreciation to our charter organization – Our Lady of Grace Church.
February 28, 2010 – Blue and Gold Banquet at 12:00 noon, theme is “Happy Birthday BSA”
March 28, 2010 – Providence Bruins Game. Payment will be due by February 28th.
April 17, 2010 – Museum of Science Sleepover, balance of funds due January 17th.
